It's probably your fans because whenever my fans are on and I cut the car you can hear them whine down for a few seconds. But as jive stated... We need more details lol

I think its the HVAC system doing whatever it does after shutdown to make sure its vented to atmosphere. If it sounds like its coming from your vents, that's normal!

Yes, I do like the quad tip look better. But after seeing a decent power gain with the Greddy, I am having a hard time going back...

Go to a full three inch and youll be fine.

If i had a hatch there would be obly twoc exhausts id get. The blitz nur spec R and the new ARK performance exhaust. You should look into them but they arent cheap. No one ive yet seen.has either of these so itll also be rare!

When I was on the stock turbo I went from stock to Q300 and did back to back road dyno pulls and there was no difference at all. But now with the 20G XTR I did back to back pulls between stock and Greddy and there was a 25HP difference! So either the bigger turbo made the difference, or 3" quad tip doesn't really help.

The ARK exhaust only really flows out the right side. The driver's side is not in the flow path, so it doesn't really do much. Looks like a nice system other than that though. The Greddy SP Elite looks and sounds really nice from what I can tell, but it's also a spendy one.

yeah stop ruining our cars...now every time I drive my car I'm scared my wheels will turn neon green spontaneously.

you should have just gotten xxr's, stretched your tires, -5 camber, hella supertones(pretty sure you have those..lol), mud flaps that just drag on the pavement and a roof rack you don't use...instead you had to ruin everything

its the big turbo. my friend has a fujitsobo single exit which tapered to 2.5' and when she was tuned on her DOM3 the tuner said her exhasut was too restricting, she picked up about 30whp by going to a FULL 3'. bigger turbos need less restriction but on stock turbos and relatively low boost applications <19~lbs the catback is just a noise maker as apposed to something you can net power from.

i say you get the Bitz Nur Spec-R. sounds like a ****ing racecar.

sorry BRO.

i think i can get a whole set of xxr's with nankang tires if i sell one tire/rim of mine i never understood buying a 40k car and putting on 500$ rims. IMO you might as well have went to pep-boys.

BTW celery, you should come to the OCC meet this saturday. i think its not too far from you, on tri-state nasioc area i have a caravan thread with exact address of OCC. you should come out so i can see that stock POS in person

Have you actually heard the Nur Spec for the hatch? It's much more tame then my Invidia Q300 TBE. The old Nur Spec for a GD STi was the one that made the car sound like a fcking race car.

I have the ARK GRiP and I will agree, it is very biased that the exhaust flow goes to the passenger side due to the Y-pipe design. It looks and sounds nice, but in cold weather the exhaust flow looks a little goofy at idle. It is a full 3" all the way through though!

Adjusted my coilovers in the back last night for the first time since my accident last month.

Jive, you can sorta see the exhaust here... I will try to dig up some old pics later.
