Any pics of STi BBS wheels on 02-03 WRX?
I'm kicking around the idea of swapping my Ver7's + cash for some BBS wheels; just trying to get a clearer mental picture.
thanks! john |

Which BBS wheels, the ones like on the 22B or the new 04 STI BBS wheels? And to think all that hard work of getting those V7 wheels and you are already thinking of changing wheels. I can't really talk though, I am on my 4th set of wheels.
Oh I just saw you posting in another thread about the 04 STI BBS wheels so I will assume you are looking at getting those. Personally I would say stick with what you have. |

New 04 /JDM Spec C ones. I would kill several of my relatives and closest friends for the 22B ones, that's not even a question
I dig the V7's, they're definitely good looking, the question is whether or not the BBS's would look better (if thats possible). I like the look of the Rally Performance WRX a lot and that has the BBS dealies. Plus forged/cast, and a little bit lighter. But someone just weighed a Ver7 one in PA and said it was like 16.94 lbs. Anyhoo... just an idea -john |

Yeah they both look great... I liked the V8 STi wheel way more when it wasn't available here but now the V7 is so much rarer

Is there a place online to buy those V8 STi wheels online or do I need to find someone with an STi to buy them off of?

Brand new? they're something like $750 each. The potenza RE070 are $170 dollars each. I'd say buy them off an STi owner.

db97 - The STI wheels/tires are significantly better than the stock wrx wheel/tire combo. It's like night and day between the two.
RS_to_WRX_swap - The wheels are 17x17.5 with 53mm offset. One think about the wheels though. They are a pain in the rear to keep clean. I've been thinking about making them black or gunmetal grey. |
