Default mechanical issues

Hey everyone! I'm doing a research paper for my composition class. Instead of discussing issues like high gas prices, global warming or world peace(typical). Our instructor told us to pick issues that are narrow and easy for beginners. I chose mechanical issues involving Subarus. If you have any spills like pros and cons on which part of your subaru has a flaw, mechanical breakthrough, more likely to break, performance, warranty/dealership issues and pricing. That will be great and really appreciated.

Please be fair and balanced ( ) in your reporting, meaning taking into account both stories of positive and negative experiences, people who try and cheat the system, and people who have a legitimate beef. There's always two sides to every story.

Good luck!
