V limited on bugeye . . .
I know there are similar like TRU lip and LNR, but has any one ever made a clean retrofit of the V-limited or replica V-limited onto a bugeye?
Doesn't hurt to ask!

Do a 04-05 or 06-07 front end conversion, your car will thank you

how much are 04/05 or 06/07 conversions? just out of curiousity... because if they are less than 1.5k (EDM lights) + (Sti Grill), it may be worthwhile.

it'll definitely be more than $1.5k. probably at least in the 3-4k range. you'll need at least new fenders, new headlights, new hood, new bumper, and some internal mounting hardware.

i seriously think $1.5k should be enough...
fender is about $200 for the pair hood $180-250 bumper $180-250 headlights you can easily found a pair for around $150-200 some little things here and there, wiring change, paint i dont see how it would cost more than $1.5k |

Those prices sound a bit on the low-side especially if you have to factor in shipping and availability of parts. Might be doable, especially if you avoid the dealer for anything
I'm obviously biased but I really prefer the Bug-eye front end, I think it just looks more proportional. Especially with JDM/EDM headlights, how can you ever go back?! Back on topic though I don't know if you could mod a V-limited to fit the 02/03 without making it look weird, the contours are so different. But I'd love to see an attempt.. |

^^^Agreed. I can't believe you're even considering it! Bugeyes FTW, at least for the GD chassis. You can't beat the old school 'prezers though

I like my bugeye, it's got character! I do like the other models as well. Each generation has something to offer!
Was just curious if someone found a way to make the V-limited lip work on the bugeye, including finding a way to make it level with the ground. For example the LNR lip looks a little off as it points up at a slight angle, not good for the bugeye IMHO! |

I've been searching to see if anybody else had done this. I'm really thinking of picking up a V-limited replica from fastwrx.com and hacking it up to make it fit my bugeye. It looks like one from an 06+ car would fit better since the 04/05 models require the STI splitters, and thus have a big section of 'lip' between the bottom of the splitters and bottom of the bumper in the middle section.

never convert a bugeye to anything else, but if you want to change your 04-07 to a bugeye i will support that.
