I wouldn't say that. GT-R's defy the laws of physics for some reason.

Haha. I could probably, but that's a no-no...

I think GTR's are killers off the line, but from a roll they are quite heavy (but they do shift lightning quick).

This is a pretty good video for GTR baselines:

511WHP stock + pump gas tune: 4.6 seconds 50-100mph
607WHP full bolt on + E85 tune: 4.0 seconds 50-100mph

Stock 2013 GTR does 4.8 seconds.

The video of my car that I posted above was in the 4.3-4.4 second range for 50-100mph, but I'm sure I could do a bit quicker. I'm hoping around the 4 second flat range. I think the extra 500lbs on the GTR evens out with the 30HP advantage.

GT-R with a y-pipe and tune...not happening. Don't get me wrong. I love our cars and the driver feel we get out of them, but a simple bolt on GT-R floors everything on the road right now (speaking from driving experience from stock to over 1200 whp). It is nuts what that car accomplishes that it shouldn't.

Bravo to you sir, looks like the build has come out beautifully. I really appreciate the restraint you've exercised in retaining the OE exterior sensibilities.

I'll be driving the Alpha 12 kitted, TSM built, TX2K13 drag winner this week. My car is sure to feel like a turd after that...

If I see a video I'll believe it, but that 600WHP one (bolt on's and E85) I just posted looks about as fast as my car. Makes sense with the added weight. The big difference I see is that any person can drive a GTR that fast. It's much harder in a Subaru. If you're just lift shifting, and not banging gears you're going to lose a full second or more just in the 50-100mph. A 450WHP Subaru should easily be able to beat a stock GTR or even a tuned one, but with most people driving I doubt it would.

That will definitely be fast, but that's no stock or bolt on GTR.

It's a 8.90 GT-R in bad conditions.

Yes, yes, I know. No need to brag. Obviously a car with that power will be fast. I doubt it's using it's 8 second potential on the street though. That kind of stuff is meant for when you have slicks and parachutes!

I'm just saying that a stock GTR probably feels really quick compared to your car, mostly because it shifts itself and anyone can drive it fast. It will do a 4.8 second 50-100 with anyone driving it that can push the pedal to the floor. A 400WHP Subaru can probably do it in less than that if you bang through every gear, but with normal lift shifts it would probably do close to 6 seconds.

Anything below Alpha Omega is just slow.

Congrats on the build Ben. Love the high revs, it's gotta be a world of difference from your old set up.

I do agree that anyone can jump into a GT-R and pull a time. You just need to come this way and we will video/test all setups.

I have a buddy with quite a list of current supercars. All stock and all high end. I want to get him to come out sometime. No GTR's though. All of his are from Europe

I would enjoy racing a stock GTR Idk about a modded one. That would probably just make me want one, haha.

I have the exotics down here too.

Yeah...my son thinks my car is slow thanks to all of the modded GT-R's he has been in. Recaro baby seat FTW.

But I would highly doubt my car will ever be in your state...

I haven't been trolling the build threads enough, but we have the bat s#$t crazy xluben "stage one build" haha! The rotated setup, some internal work with the right parts to take power like this, & a good tune makes these boxer engines roar!!! Truely inspirational work, great job!!

I echo FLEX'N's comment of some big brakes to slow this beast down, but fitting something in your RPF1s and those stock wheels could be tough (esp larger 6 piston setups). Brembos would look nice in a 17x9 RPF1, I have been exploring those 5x100 STIs of the past for some meatier wheels/tires... Nothing compares to the cost and weight of those, great wheels!

Then again, leave those brakes alone and people will just wonder where your hood scoop went until you create a black hole from a rolling 40 launch
