P&L/Exedy Triple Disk

This thing was built to mirror FastEddie's beast. Fast(slow)Eddie worked on the build from start to finish and it came out flawless! The P&L crew did it again!!

The blue run went [email protected]

The Green run was at 29-30psi and has another 500rpm to pull. Motor is pretty fresh so we didnt want to lean on it to hard on the first session. I think we will have some track numbers for it tomorrow.

Wow! Is the 6265 really spooling faster than the 6262 Eddie had on? Must be the E85

I always said optimizing the exhaust wheel (EGBP) vs inlet pressure will result in faster spool, even with a bigger turbine wheel, turbine housing. Its all about matching everything up properly.

Mr.V I should have the logs, but I think it was around 28-29psi as well. Im going to try and turn this one up at the track and see if we can get some low 140s out of it. It is still on the old style gear box.

This car reminds me of your car, looks stock until you mash the throttle.

Bunch of missed gears.. the 05 sti trans is not liking life anymore. P&L long ratio on the way

Vids will be up soon.

Wait til you see this guy hit gears. The car sounded like an auto going down the track. Well until the missed gears .. lol

Best 60ft was a 1.54

If you had kept the AC in that car, it almost looks as though you could drive it daily (sorry I'm from Hawaii, so no A/C means not driven daily).

I'm going to guess that your times would improve with the longer gear set. After driving a z06, I realized how short the 257 powerband is compared to the gearing.

Yea its tough keeping the ac with the cosworth intake rotated. It is his daily though.

The trans is happening, it will pick up some big mph. Im estimating we lost 4-5mph with the shifting of 5th. I say once the car gets the gearbox and Tad makes a full boost pass we will see some 9.80s at 140-142mph

I'm impressed... Especially since this is the turbo I'm going to be running. not sure I can bust out those ETs though. I have a PPG 5 speed.
