The 'Cobb' air box is designed for the 'Cobb' intake. Do the math. If you want the Cobb box, get the whole SF intake kit and get rid of the Apexi.

Also fill in your profile. At one point I wanted to clean up my bay as well as I have an oversized maf intake, if you want something for it you could always fab one up to custom fit. Other than that, just enjoy looking at it. Hopefully you're tuned for the intake.

Truth.
You should be tuned for whatever intake you're running. Cobb SF and SPT don't need tuned for (even though you really should). Put the stock box back on to make it look more stock... because it would be stock? |

im pretty set on getting the COBB intake box from rally sport direct....the only thing i dont like is how it over hangs the snorkel.... does anyone know why the 02-07 box has this and then 08+ they have cut it in line with the snorkel so it looks flush.... |

Luckily it took you over a month to respond with your smart ass answer.
Obviously the intake box can be modified, or you can save yourself money and go buy a sheet of metal and make your own. |
