These are the ones I know of.
Muteki Trust Buddy Club Rays Kyokugen Kics with the addition of McGard <- these are the heaviest of them all. |

I used the stock lugs on my PFF-7s for over a year and no problems - did my share of taking the wheels on and off too:
I'm using McGard's now though |

Didnt say they wouldnt work but here is the difference
Stock shape is l_l Prodrive and others \_/ When I ordered mine 3 years ago they came with new nuts. I recently went with Rays/Vold nuts for racing nuts. Soon to sell the P1's for Volk CE28N's. |

Prodrive wheels use the stock 'acorn' lugs or other similar shaped lugs. The only gripe I'd have with using the stockers on my P7s is that they sit a bit deep in the bores (making them tougher to handle by hand). |

Muteki 36g
Rays 0.8oz Kyokugen 0.9 oz Note sure on the McGards but I have set and they are significantly heavier than the Rays Dura-Nut. Maybe your friend has the older style maybe I have the older style. I know they change them all the time. As for the weights does it really matter much. We talking a half pound or less over all 4 wheels. Quote:

Interesting as my 02 wagon had square lug nuts on it stock. I find it odd that Tirerack would send me new lug nuts for it (that were free) when they sent the tire. |

Absolutely spend your money on much better go fast/braking mods. But if you've done it all then why not?

I've been currently using stock lugs on my p1's for about a year. I'm soon moving onto mcgard lugs though since the stock ones have taken a beating by changing my wheels often for auto-x.
