Changing only injectors, advice on changes to tune for "no change" in operation
I am replacing the injectors on an 02 WRX. I would like advice on a quick way to modify the current tune to essentially make it function equal to before. I have the correct latencies but am curious what other items I may miss. The search engine is down and I am at the shop trying to button this up
Going from stock 02WRX blue top feeds to DeatschWerks 1000cc units. The intake will remain stock (hopefully little to no maf rescaling necessary). I will take it to the tuner once the additional parts are installed but it needs to be safely drivable in the meantime. Last edited by ciper; 07-04-2012 at 08:07 AM. |

Input the latencies and they go by the smallest injector value on the flow sheet for injector scaling. You will have to adjust tip-in at a minimum. I would then check your fueling ranges and see if adjustments need to be made.

Thanks a plenty. I felt like I was forgetting something but couldn't put my finger on it. I guess I must have been thinking about the tip-in.
Latencies are what the spec sheet says multiplied by .64 for open source right? |
