Hey just had a quick question for you guys.
I have an 06 STI if i want to go stage 2 will a catted downpipe work with my stock STI
exhaust or will I need a full Catback exhaust as well?

Also I want to eliminate as much boost creep as possible.

Thanks in advance....

Thanks,

STix66

Catted as in... high flow cat in an aftermarket downpipe? You can run an aftermarket downpipe (even with a high flow cat) with the stock catback and still run Cobb's stage 2 map. For optimal performance your best bet would be no cats, and a full turbo-back exhaust. I am flashing stage 2 tomorrow and I am keeping my stock catback on for now... just a downpipe with no cats.
