It means you should read your owner's manual, which tells you that it will flash at 37 degrees to warn you of possible slick roads.

Mine did this a couple of weeks ago. Figured it was what Spambot said (w/o reading manual). Good to have some confirmation.
Thanks |

Being a troll is my job, just as buying a new car and not reading the owner's manual so you can come on to a forum and ask questions that are answered in your manual is yours.

I see a forum as a place for people to share information about their car and what they have done/ are going to do with it. It's a place to research. It is not a place to ask a question because you want answers spoon fed to you and don't know how to do a simple search or read about your car. (not bashing OP, just a blanket statement about 90% of the new posts here) Granted this is the Newbie forum so this is technically the correct place for this. Quote:
People get so upset with the same questions being asked or simple questions because it pushes down all the good threads with real info. While OP's question isn't a super popular one like "what exhaust should I get?" it is however easy enough that it is in the owner's manual. I am not upset at all with this thread, just sick of hearing about "how mean Nasioc is now." It's not mean, it's just full of members sick of seeing the same stuff or simple stuff that clutters up all the useful information. /rant As for OP the question has been answered. Just brush off the responses you don't like and move on. You learned why the gauge flashes and you learned where to look from now on. Win win. |

But then how will the people with the real answers be able to answer the noob questions? If only noobs post questions and you have only noobs reading these threads you will get no good info. Thanks for the GREAT advice.

Again, I know this is the Newbie forum so "relevant and interesting threads" are impossible to find. But the noob questions are spilling over into every other forum. If we didn't have mods these forums would just be a wall of "What exhaust is better?" "Will this void my warranty?" "What is stage 1?" and "Will these wheels fit?" If you spend any amount of time here looking around and researching it is annoying as all hell sifting through that same garbage that is started every day. I know this is all off topic, but it's just the problem of such a large site. That is the exact reason you see so many people with short, smartass answers. |

you're either a noob, a troll, or someone who helps others. if you choose to be a troll than be a troll, if you choose the help someone than help someone, simple.

So you are a moderator in the newbie section where people should feel free to ask to what others are common sense questions.
You acknowledge the question has been answered about a week ago, yet you refuse to close the thread in order to promote...schoolgirl bickering? I guess its at each moderators discretion... |
