How are you resetting the ECU? Through RR or pulling the battery terminal? Also, you need FLKC, FBKC, and IAM in your logs.
I would really like you to pull a learning view image for us. If it ran better before, why don't you get a new 2 port solenoid and flash the old map back?

I think that when I put the new 3 Port EBCS on, it just amplified the issues I am having with the car. I'm hoping that if I can get this all sorted out it will work better. |

I actually just got back from pulling some logs. I also got some screenshots of Learning View.

Look at A/F Learning range "c" on learning view, its almost maxed out, as well as "a" at nearly 6%, that is concerning. The FLKC its showing isn't bad.
I still say there's an underlying MAF/leak problem here. |

I also had a question about the CEL that shows up in Learning View. It is P0457 EVAP LEAK DETECTED (Fuel Cap). Would that error give me these problems? .. I'm pretty certain the fuel cap isn't loose, but maybe whatever is causing it is why the car is running lean? |

I don't know if it's related, but I do get a very strong smell of gasoline whenever I get gas. the smell is in the cabin and starts even before I turn the car on and last 10-20 minutes after driving. I guess the car is just getting old lol |

Yeah, I second this I guess this is what happens with old, used subies. At least my CEL hasn't come back on.

I'm pretty sure I fixed mine. My coolant overflow bottle had came loose. I'm guessing that was tricking the kock sensor, since after I re-secured it I havent been able to get it to knock.

Check and make sure the fuel pump gasket is flush if you were/did any work involving the fuel pump. Also ensure that you do not have a fuel leak from your fuel lines. |

Just an update: ... So, I cleaned out my air filter, cleaned the maf and zip tied a bunch of stuff and walah! the car is 95 percent better. It's still pulling a tiny bit of timing, but it's nowhere near as bad now and the car is running much better.
I am still getting that P0457 EVAP LEAK DETECTED CEL and I have figured that out too .. it is a broken Fuel Vapor Solonoid! one of the plastic nipples broke off. So, now I have to figure out where to get one, or fix the one I have. :-/ |

So your pulled timing was due to a bunch of stuff all shaking all at the same time causing a false knock which caused your ecu to pull timing? May I ask what was shaking so bad to cause this?
