Haha, funny you say that. I just gave it back and Im ordering a precision t58b billet. Pretty much the same but is capable of more power and cost WAY less than any garret competition.

dont think so but not going to spend 300 to make it work for me, I need a 3in vband exhaust housing.
Dont think so, just really old. There was no tag on it but said garrett everywhere else. Im ordering a pt&e billet turbo. |

back onto discussion that pertains to this thread. I just ordered my 2.5i manifold. All I have to do is custom work for the throttle body and bracket for the fuel rails correct guys? I'll be rotating it and using perrin top feed fuel rails.

I dont think that manifold works reversed. You can try though. If it does youll have to ditch the a/c and flip the alt with some sort of tentioner.

The tb angle and height on the manifold. Im 99% sure you have to flip the alt to the a/c's location, but us bugeye owners dont have as much hood clearance as the 04+

I can't remember the name of the tuner but they had a customer's car at wicked big meet last year with this. They lifted the intake manifold with EXTRA think phenolic spacers, actually looked like 2 pairs stacked (2 per side). I'll see if I have any pictures of it.

the 2.5i manifold is taller than the wrx one, and the tb is at a weird angle, this is what makes it not clear the hood. If you want spacers thicker than 8mm rcm makes 11mm ones.

Phil from Element Tuning used 2 8mm spacers on each side to clear avcs solenoids with the 2.5i manifold.
