We have a large roll-away at the office at the moment, in addition to our regular dumpster, so I think you're all set.

You can PayPal me $30, and I'll send you an admissions pass good for all week at the Smithsonian museums. I have an inside hook-up.

Prepare to be disappointed with NMAI.

There is a "treasures" exhibit from NMAH at air and space:
http://americanhistory.si.edu/exhibi...1267&exkey=143

You can see a number of objects my wife has worked on!

Also, it's not the Smithsonian, but the Spy Museum is fantastic. Same with the Holocaust Museum.

Oh, and it sounds like you're not into art based on what you've listed, but if you are, the newly-opened Portrait Gallery is apparently fantastic, as is American Art, the Hirshhorn, and the Freer and Sackler Galleries.

I swear, I'll mail you an actual weekly pass that isn't available to the general public. I'm not being dishonest here.

Get tickets in advance. They're free, but you can only go in at assigned times.

You said you have 2 days off, right? Unless you sprint through these museums, you'll likely have to pick only 4-6 to check out. They're HUGE and have tons of interesting stuff.

Then he's clearly into art! The spirit of the wolf allows for appreciation of the finer things in life.

I was going to go to art school, that fell through because of no money or support, I ended up pursuing a career in the "manual labor arts". My girlfriend has a masters degree in Art History and Museum studies. I live vicariously through her.

They have karts off of route 10 in NJ. I imagine going during business hours would rock because there would be no lines..

on your way up 95 don't bother stopping in delaware, unless you need to do some serious tax free shopping. you can stop in philly and hit the franklin institute and the philadelphia museum of art (rocky up the steps and get there on a sunday and it's pay as you wish all day), camden or baltimore aquarium are cool as well.

So...you gonna stay in the DC club business for a while? My brother will be moving to DC this summer to start his job at a law firm, and you bet your arse I'm gonna be visiting. Not to mention the friends I have there. So yeah. That'd be sweet!

I've been in the club business for 5 years, I don't see that changing in the near future.

OK, I'll let him know that you're interested, and pick up your weekly pass this weekend. What are the dates again?

Is he getting the 2 day, 5 museum pass or the unlimited Patriot pass?

Patriot, duh. I wouldn't hook up anyone on here with anything less than the VIP package. The Patriot pass even allows full access to the cafeterias, you just have to pay for food.

Every time I go to the Smithsonian, I never have to pay. It pays to know people in the right places.

Hell yeah. Thank God my wife works there. I feel badly for the suckers who don't have the hookups.
