Cool :-). It's really simple , the hardest part for me is you just gotta get your brain wrapped around the idea of spending 3k + on a freaking transmission lol

This makes me happy. Maybe once you do it you'll stop babying your car so much.

Oh Justin, if only you knew me better when I was @ Tech...I beat the Pi$$ outta my car back then....then my motor fell apart amongst other things...and I spent $10,000 getting it back to functioning....can ya blame a guy for trying to make it last...

although admittedly it sucks having it on a breakin tune for over a year...its basically a 2.5rs at this point...

So does anyone wanna attack my miata killer this winter with me?
List of things to do:
Rear disc conversion
Head swap with obd1 conversion
Transmission swap
Replacing all bushings
Dash flocking
Various brace installs
Clutch and flywheel install
Pads and rotors
Clutch master cylinder
Fastline extended shifter
Rear camber kit

I think that's all.

So Bob's Wheel is looking to get $1170 just mount and balance (no alignment) for a set of Potenza PP 970's.

Any other recommended tire shops; cause somebody just lost my business.

What is the price per tire? How much of that is just the mount and balance?

Don't buy tires there. They sell them at retail price.

Mounting and road force balancing will be about $115

Why not buy tires online for as cheap as possible?
