Can't wait for these toolbags to get banned for having duplicate accounts. If you're gonna talk smack, at least have the balls to use your own account.

+1 retrac, The reason they don't use their own is they know better. The beat down would be epic.

No hub centric rings. I was not aware of this need until it was too late. The more ya know!

That's what can happen when you have wheels with the wrong center bore diameter and no hub-centric rings installed.

I've run rims with the wrong center bore before and NEVER had a tire issue. Of course I did use lug nuts designed to center the rim against the axle/hub to eliminate any play.

WGMG: not even 2 weeks I've had my car back, and a street grader (sp?) coming the opposite way down Abbott throws a hunk of ice out of its chains and dents my drivers side rear door. The one that was just replaced! Also damaged the car ahead of me.
Is it possible to get the city to pay for this?

Possibly if you can tell them the time of day and which direction it was going. Was he just going too fast?

He was going way to fast to be honest, especially with how his tires were setup on a dry road. And I'll try calling someone about it. Who would e the best to contact?

It depends on who maintains it. You can find out online:

state.ak.us, alaska.gov or muni.org to look for a map and see if the Municipality maintains Abbott Rd. Every road is contracted out. Smaller roads are independent businesses.

or call Risk Management @ 343-2529, ask for Darlene. http://www.muni.org/departments/Pages/default.aspx

Let them know time of day and such and they'll see who was working and driving.

It's not horrible, but it's not good either. Plus the placement is terrible, right below my door handle and in the middle of the panel. Not really in a inconspicuous spot.
