You know... it's funny you say that... because I used to have a FMIC... but a FMIC on a TD04 with 15/16 PSI is really just kind of... we'll just say laggy.
... maybe the next step in this build is doing a rotated setup... someday. |

Any of you guys with shaved bays daily drive your car? How does the bondo hold up? I would think it would crack pretty fast. Thinking of doing it and using fiber glass filler so it would be a little stronger.

Why would body filler crack? As long as you use the correct amount and proper surface prep it should last forever.

I daily drive my car. There is risk of any filler used along the strut column seams cracking.

Yeah I think I'm gonna do most of the work with sheet metal and fill in any small improfections with fiber glass filler. That's the strongest way I can think of unless any of you guys have other suggestions. |

I agree that the area of the strut towers would be likely to see more stresses. I personally would use a metal filler in these areas. |

Check out ChaseBays.com for their abs delete Kit. Mine will be here this week along with fender lines, overflow, clutch line, grounding Kit and powersteering Kit. I'll have an install thread up as soon as I do it all.

Im with others, buying premade kits for things like this simply limit the ability of the final product to be exactly what you want. You are limited to what ever the thoughts and ideas were of who ever built the kit. |

to save you a speed bump...
take that res down to a hardware store and grab some stuff to extend that push rod to the brake pedal. since it's a universal wilwood piece it won't reach even with the pedal down to the floor. |
