Hopefully in the next week I'll publish supps, open the season subscription, and open registration for the first event.

We're getting there! I'm just working out a few last minute details.

It was $375 last year.

The price is going to go up slightly this year because we are adding a day of competition.

You do have to be a full SCCA Member to take advantage of the season subscription.

Modified RWD, thanks to my complete absence of interior carpeting and back seat. Otherwise the car is a mostly-stock 318 with stock engine, stock suspension (but with bilsteins and 325 sways), and 325i brakes. It's not fast, lol. Shawn is gonna kill me.

Still on the prowl for some used 14" rally tires....I am not confident about the super-soft snows I have on the wheels right now, even though they have great tread, I see them debeading often.

I did, however, finish up my skid today. Stainless 14-gau (with a set of 14ga stiffeners also). It's not terribly pretty, and it's not a true rally plate or anything, but it should take some light hits and keep alot of crap out of my engine bay

don't mind the wierd bolts/hardware everywhere. They're just temporary until tomrrow when I hit fastenal to get the hardware I want.

Aaaw, crap :P

I will have to run Modified RWD as well then... If not, I will be running alone.

BTW, I thought Shawn was going to run in a Subaru this year because Mazdas are not good enough!!!

Its heavy but nothing more boost won't overcome.

I've dented the crap out of it (on stage roads) so hard that it took hours to bend back pounding w/ sledge on concrete. Tried running over it w/ heavy forklift but that didn't straighten it. Probably overkill thickness for rallyX.

I have 7" of clearance below mine, so I don't need it to be nearly as strong as his, lol. Looks like he has like 3" haha..

I got a sheet of 1/4" that my uncle gave me, and it weighed like 60lbs in the size I'd need. I'd kill myself just trying to get it on the car, haha...

ah....lol. No, mine has a much smaller engine, is prettier and weighs probably 300lbs less And nobody else will be driving mine....

I haven't managed to find those other guys on any of the BMW forums, so I'm looking forward to "talking shop" with them at the first event and getting advice.

bekuz rallycar.

I plan to shell out for a rally suspension this week so will have more incentive to come play not having to worry about how many AGXs are going to blow.

I know. I had lots of fun running such a tight season against him. But I want to improve as a driver more than win a class.
So even if I continued running with the RS, I would have moved to Prepared so I could start running rally wheels and start tweaking parameters on the car

well, if they'd let me run with ballast of some sort as compensation for my lack of carpeting and backseat, I'd jump into Prepared.

Though really, I have a sub-100hp M10. They should let me do it just to be nice :P
