Rocket rally exhaust 06 sti
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the TBE exhaust that RR makes and sell for the 04-07 STI's
i.e. is it made well, does it sound good, would you recommend it etc. Also i looked up on other threads on here regarding this topic and on youtube but i couldn't find a good video of a sound clip or any info. Just wondering if anyone has or knows of a sound clip or would be able to give me their 2 cents on this topic? Thanks

No first hand experience but I can't imagine anything coming from RR being of poor quality. As for bang for bucks I can't say, but I'd trust em with my car that's for sure. My .02

Yes it sounds good and is well made.
I had their WRX version (MY04) and my son had their STI version (MY05). |

The weld and pipe is top grade, muffler is a full 3" Magnaflow performace series. It sounds great and I regret selling mine...

I have an older RR system ,with a vibrant muffler ! Not too loud , low and raspy but at high speeds it gets a bit annoying ! I recommend it .

I've had both the APS and the RR turbo-back on an '04 STi. Love them both. Can't go wrong.

I think i'm steering more towards the Cobb. I looked at sound clips of the aps and maybe it was the video quality but it just didn't have the same throateness as the Cobb. Also correct me if i'm wrong but the APS just didn't seem as good quality from the pictures I saw of it? Just wondering if anyone had opinions on that (quality)?
Also for pretty much the same price as the RR tbe I can get a Cobb tbe with an AP. |

All three are quite similar and you can't go wrong with any of them. Maybe try and go to a mini meet meet and hear in person. I like all three and find they all have a very similar mellow throatiness.

I've had the RR turbo back exhaust on my 07 STI for almost 5 years now with around 60,000 miles. Sounds great and the quality is top notch.
Only issue that I have had is the Magnaflow muffler had a seam come apart but a quick weld took care of that issue. |

I'm not bashing RR, I just want good valve for money and considering the price approx $1600 for a catted exhaust, it just seems better value for money with the Cobb? Any thoughts? |
