98 impreza parts, take it all - $2000 (vancouver, wa)

I posted this a while back and it got flagged for being in the wrong section, oops! I'll try this again.

It doesn't run, there's no battery, and the tires are bald/flat, so I'm selling this pile of parts, cheap. I had a 1998 subaru impreza 2.5 rs rally blue pearl 2 door but it made a crappy sound one morning and my neighbor told me the headgasket blew. I didn't have the time/space/knowledge to fix it so I bought a different car and am now selling the remains of the subaru. I'd part it out if I had a place I could park it, but I don't so it's got to go. Most of the body panels have dents. If you can make use of it, I'm asking 2,000 obo. Let me know what you want pics of and I'll e-mail it to you. Obviously you'll need a way to haul this, and someone to help lend a hand probably.

I saw that one on craigslist, I started laughing so hard. 50k for an STi lol. That guy must be in a real rough patch to put work into the car and sell it "only a month later"

He also gives you a steal of a deal when he makes a quote for your own time! "Furthermore, you don't have to shop around / make appointments etc to get all these goodies installed, which is easily worth $500 imho (which means you save about $4K)."

Haha. Should probably move this to the What made me LMAO thread...

I bet he went upside down on the purchase. For that price I would look into something euro.

I'm kind of diggin' his rationale for the firm price in that he has shelled out over $50K over the last month or so, so am quite familiar with the value. Surely he must have the title in hand if that's the case. Oh, and is a bit delusional.

I knew it sounded too good to be true! If it got hit, I have to assume it has a salvage title as well?

That's a nice looking wagon. But isn't 15k a bit too high? 11k is kinda lowballing though.

actually i think what he was trying to say was that he would take your offer of 11k. You just had to throw in a BJ to make up for the difference.
