Default 4EAT 4.11 Front diff into 5MT

I drive an 05 4EAT WRX, i just purchased a 02 WRX 5MT with blown second and plan on buying a LGT gearset rebuild kit for 02 WRX to put in.

My question is with having 4.11 final drives in the 4EAT and a 3.90 front diff in the 5MT is it possible to pull the 4EAT 4.11 and put it in the 5MT? i dont know yet if ill need a new Cluster shaft for the LGT kit or not (i would assume i would)

IIRC LGT's final drive is 4.111 would that clustershaft mesh properly to a 4.11?

I looked at the stickies and couldnt find what i was looking for.
Excuse my ignorance.

Wrx Tranny,slowr than ish

Only problem is you would have to also swap out the transfer gears on the tail end of the tranny. The 02-05 wrx 5 speed has a 1.1:1 transfer gear set just before the rear driveshaft. Which is why the rear diff is a 3.545 ratio and the front is a 3.90

but would i have to find a different driveshaft? i dont have any of the extension/tail housings or any of their guts so that would be fine.

youre saying i would have to get an LGT's transfer gears?

He is saying that you would have to get the transfer gears from a tranny tail section that has a 1:1 so you can have the 4.11 front and rear diff ratio.

The auto drive shaft is shorter than a manual one so you will have to find a manual drive shaft.

I know i need another drive shaft. What cars used the 1:1 transfer gears? Legacy? So just get an LGT cluster shaft and transfer gears and i should be good?
