Thanks man. I used this 2 way stretch xtreme vinyl (XTR-601) at a local upholstery shop called perfect fit. Here is the link

XTR-601

and the adhesive I used is the stuff I believe all the big boy shops use. The DAP contact adhesive.

Contact Adhesive

Aaron... funny... I saw your spray gun in the last pic... are you thining the the contact cement at all? if so what are you using to thin? do you know what size tip/needle/seat is in your pray gun?

I used to source Landau top adhesive from Miami Rubber in Ohio... since then I no longer have a business account with them. :-( that stuff was bullet proof. I have a can of DAP Red sitting on the kitchen table for this weekend to redo the back 3/4 of my suede headliner job... since Super 90 3m couldn't cut the texas heat.. <shrug>

thanks for the link on the vinyl. I am looking at doing my doors similarly and might even look into doing similar pillars. I like what you've done.

What are you doing for grills?

No problem man. For grills I am going to have something cut on the water jet in our shop out of aluminum when I go back to school in a few days and have access to it. I'm working on a design now so we will see how quickly I get these done

Nice build, I've been thinking about doing something like this myself. Thank you for the ideas and motivation.

One think I'd like to mention on your quick disconnect area of your amp rack. Those female-female RCA couplers look like they're from Radio Shack. If so, they're garbage. Either get male-female RCA cables, or get better couplers. Just my 2 cents.

So it looks as if the DAP is "restricted" in Michigan now???

Wasn't when I got it....

That will be awesome. Im a bit upset with my planning and the fitment of my drivers but Ill make it work.

I have 2 more weeks of school left and then I will be home for 3 weeks to finish this up. Ive been driving around for two years with no door panels and its super annoying so i need to finish it soon.

Updates soon to come!

i recently busted my ass to fit HAT L8v2 drivers in my doors and at the end of the day i can't say it was worth all the extra effort for the additional output below 50hz vs what a set of similar 6.5" drivers would have accomplished.
