Question Why is the Flash Gordon DVD so expensive?

Currently on ebay, official Flash Gordon Movie DVDs are going for 80 or more bucks. Why are they so expensive? According to some ebay sellers the DVD is "Out of Print", but still 80 bucks for a DVD?

Any idea when someone will do a Remastered Flash Gordon DVD?

Its the same thing w/ Double Indemnity.
It's not that superior of a movie, just something that's rare, so the price has gone up.
