Default What stores sell shorts during the winter? (not online)

I am going to the bahamas january 4th - 11th and was wondering if OT had any clue where I might look for shorts when I go shopping today... I might look at pacific sunwear... but does anyone have any other ideas of where to look?

I have gotten some ODD looks when asking for shorts lately at JC Penny's and Hechts

J.Crew has a "winter vacation" section with shorts during the winter -- if you are near DC, there are a few J.Crew stores around the beltline.

I've been wearing shorts a lot lately while working on our basement as well as going to/from the gym for basketball. As long as it's > 15 and not too windy, I have a jacket, and I'm staying in town (i.e. no risk of breaking down out in the middle of nowhere), I'm perfectly comfortable wearing shorts. Get lots of weird looks and even a few comments, but whatever. I'm not changing just to run to the hardware store or go out to grab a bite to eat.

What the hell? When I type capital letters, it shows up correct, but when I post, it shows lowercase.

Go to Nordstrom or some other Richie type store.

They sell shorts for the vacationers.

check Marshall's, TJ Maxx or something like that - usually the stuff is weird and on clearance so hopefully you're looking for 3XL neon green fubu shorts.

I've never been to the Bahamas either, but I'm guessing as long as you have American money, they won't care what your shorts look like.

nice timing for a trip to the Bahamas!
