Default I need an alternative

Well I called tire rack today and they said another 8 weeks till my Yokohama AVS ES 100's would be in.

What would you guys reconment in place of this tire?
I would like the tread wear to be them same and close to $110 a piece.

I guess I am looking for a good performance tire for around $110 in a 225/45/17 that has a good tread life.

I'm running a set of Falken FK451's on my wagon, and so far I'm real happy with them. They carry a 280 tread wear rating, AA traction, A temp. They're a directional tire...excellent in the rain...not too noisy. Vulcan tire has them for $103 each. Check 'em out...

225/45WR-17 Sumitomo HTR Z II $98 each

Just a notch under the AVSs. I also was faced with the same dilema.

If you can spare another $20 per tire you can get Falken Azenis Sport(RS) or Khumo Ecsta MX, perhaps some of the highest performing tires for your dollar.

I was looking into the AVS ES100's as well, and I found that American Tire Co. (www.tires.com) was cheaper. But I also found that at the store I could get the Khumo MX's for like only $20 difference installed, so thats what i'm going to get. (Tire wear on the MX's is not super, but its going to be soooo much sticker than the ES100's )
