New Rex Owner....
Sup Bay Area peeps...im new to the boards and all and im getting my 2nd car which (1st was a FD) will most likely be a 02 Wrx sedan. I dont have much experience with the whole mod side of the Wrx but ive been reading alot about the sites to go to Vinshuu (sp?) and Cobb. My question is, M2 is it not a good company for wrx's?? I know they were pretty good with the FD parts so i would like to know you guys point of views for it.
I was looking at the Stage 2 at M2 M2 Stainless Turbo-Back Exhaust System M2 Stainless Up-Pipe High Flow Air Filter Element M2 Engine Management System Upgraded Intercooler Y-Pipe 2,195.00 And also get a BOV (HKS SSQ) I went to Vishnu but it says Stage 1 (Which is basically the Hp i will be at with the Stage 2 M2) Is coming soon so i dont know what that contains. Also you guys know any good gauges i can look at. Thanks in advance ill be on the boards alot reading up....probaly asking alot of questions im that curious little brother everyone has Payce

welcome
you are geographically close to a popluar place to buy gages and aftermarket goodies at competitive prices. Gruppe-S and I think Suby dude might be able to help you out... Id suggest browse the vendor for sale forums as well. Steve aka Gargantua |

Thats strange...
Checked the post and it said zero....
Well anyways thanks for the info Steve i will try and get in the habit of knowing everyones name. I had the FD that my friend had wanted but didnt have the money at the time so I bought it drove it modded it until he was ready to buy it back. Hes doing 3 rotor conversion so I knew it was for him. Besides i've always been a fan of AWD sedans. And about the Staged upgrades....I think I've already set my mind on just getting the Vishnu |

Welcome! The Bay Area is a great place for owning an FD and a WRX. In fact, a lot of the WRX tuners around here have also done a lot of work with FDs (and Mazdas in general).
The Vishnu Stage 1 is basically the Stage 0 plus a turbo-back exhaust. I was at Vishnu a couple weeks ago and they had tons of exhaust sets sitting there. I bet they would hook you up if you gave them a call. |
