gotcha that makes sense...just raising up the collar is needed.

I originally thought you meant I needed to extend the threading higher in order to able to raise up the collar higher than possible from Air Lift...raising the collar just like you would with coil overs is simple enough for me!

thanks for all the info

@Corey - that makes sense....I spend a lot of time in the mountains during the winters and would like to raise up high enough when hitting the potholes that open up.

can't wait to get on Air! Subie arrives today!!!

Sorry for the confusion, it's actually very straight forward! Once you have the pieces in your hand, it's easier to see. I'm much more of a visual learner, things just click when I put the parts in my hands.

this might make things simpler....how many inches of travel do the rear shocks offer? without messing with the collar.

The travel on the rears is 3.5" out of the box. There's about 1.15" of additional thread to be used. Also, the overall drop is 4.5".

Hey quick question for all the GR hatches, what is every one doing for rear camber? are you guys just relying on natural camber or are you guys doing adjustable control arms or what! Im bagging my 09 wrx and gonna run 18x9.5 35+ with maybe a 5mm spacer I just wanna get the logistics out of the way before I do this note: I already have a decent pull on all 4 corners from being static! THANKS GUYS!

I'm going all natural. My 3SDM wheels are 18x9.5 +15 and the winter Rotas are 18x9 +20. Adjustable control arms would be nice to fine tune the setup, but not entirely needed.

Im actually looking at the 3sdm .05s where you find such a low offset i thought 35+ was the lowest but yea any way i might just go with natural camber first then see how it goes thanks man!

I'm sure that's his final offset after a spacer.

I'm guessing he means with spacers cuz I think you're right about about the available offsets. When I bought my 0.06s the lowest offset was +35 and I thought they came in the same sizing as the 0.05s. I am running 18x9.5 +35 with 25mm spacers on my wagon for a final +10 offset.

edit: just saw Kyle said the same thing already

Thanks dude! I figured I would change it up for winter. My KF's were leaking through the silicone so I rebuilt them and re-sealed them with the good stuff and changed out the gold bolts with some new neo-chrome hardware. Turned out good

I bought Truhart rear LCAs and SPC toe arms. Better to have it fine tuned to give my tires 1000 extra miles
