Question Eibach vs. H&R springs for non-RS

I've read some earlier posts on this subject and noticed the different specs in lowering height, particularly for the Eibach Pros. Most indicate a 3/4 inch drop (for an RS?) but I've also heard they go as low a 1.25 inches. The 1.25" is consistent with the reply I got from Eibach after I emailed them:

"We do carry a kit for your 93> Impreza. The kit no is 7705.140E and is our
European made model. These are not in our US brochure and web site. These
suspension springs will lower the car by about 1.25 Inches and the appx.
rate increase is 20% over stock."

To the point: I wonder if the 3/4" spec applies only to the RS? Could the difference be due to the RS's factory "sport-tuned" suspension giving it a 1/2 inch advantage over a regular Impreza? If so, does this also mean that the H&R springs will drop a non-RS over 2 inches? (That would be too low)

I know these fractions of an inch might seem petty, but I have quite a bit of fender gap. And while I'm being careful about lowering the car (as suggested in other posts), it doesn't seem worthwhile to spend the money for springs and installation only to drop 3/4".
