Talking blitz LM series short intake

well got last night, did the install this morning..took it out last night with my brother before the install and again after the install this morning..seems to be a little more pull...very little noise increase before 3000rpm's.. but not loud be any means. spool up seems better with this intake compared to the injen i had for a couple months..and the BOV sound is more pronounced as well as the whistle from the turbo spool up...over all i would say a good mod to have....maybe the same for all short ram style intakes, but i can only saw compared to the two differnt ones i have had on the car with the same mods still....

hard to say about how much difference there is between stock and the injen cai...mostly but dyno. but there is more air noise, and you can hear the turbo spooling more..i just think that after having the two different intakes that the blitz has a better throttle response...

yes, the LM series is a cotton material. not the stainless your's is made of...i went this route because i heard of a couple CEL issues the old SUS setup had...all in all i like the LM series, still happy with it....

wanderer, sorry to hear about that. have you pulled the code to make sure what it is? i have had some CEL's but the dealer said its the same one for the cat because i have a full turbo back exhaust, but no CEL's from the intake.. you can try contacting blitz or maybe even where you bought it from.. good luck at let us know what happens..

Default cels

ya i've pulled the codes. alwayz the same one.. too lean
i've got an autoxray code scanner that i usually keep hooked up for monitoring..

want to get that single din box from england that reads everything..

but i like the intake.
thought about playing around with some air redirection or something. maybe block off a little bit of it... or go back to the stock box and sti filter i have..

no biggy. i want real hp i get on my BIKE!!

Default intake...

wanderer, that's still does not seem right. even more so if you are running the stock exhaust. just an intake alone should only lean out the fuel very little... i mean i have a full turbo back exhaust, intake a MBC running right at 16psi but i just keep getting the CEL for the cat... might want to check out vishnuperformance or turboxs and ask for some more info... even post in the tech forum to see if you get any ideas for others... good luck either way

Cool lm intake.....

that's correct.. just remove your current MAF sensor and remount in the new metal MAF adapter that came with your kit. you should have also gotten a metal arm/support to hold the filter in place.. one end mounts to the back of the new MAF plate and the other with one of the old bolts from the stock air box.. any more questions PM or e-mail me..
