Little update. Put the car on the dyno. Made 504 /512 uncorrected on a Mustang dyno. Here is the video.

http://www.youtube.com/user/infamouscwilb#p/a/u/1/BesPx8WDVu0.

This was after a little tuning. Started off at 450 something, which is what I figure it was at when it ran 10.70

3520 with me in it. Just did the trunk. Reason for the low mph is I'm at the end of 4th before the end of the track. Either need to shift 5th a little early, or rev it higher. That pass I just pushed in the clutch and rolled through the traps.

sweet pass, congrats.

Are you still running the stock shortblock with drop in forged pistons? How many miles on the engine? Do you have ARP head studs? R you pushing coolant ?

Congrats again, great job.

Congrats man!! I feel like this is just another example of what I preach all of the time.

If you want a 10 second suby that will last 30-50k miles, all you need are headstuds, drop ins, and e85/methanol.

My simple motor has 45k miles. Its never gone 10's, but it has trapped 123 on straight pump gas.

I wouldn't be surprised if this motor lasts 40-50k with multiple 10 sec / 130mph passes. Because its simple

Awesome job,

-Mikey

No John, remember I have the 07 gears. Rev limit is at 7800. I don't know if I should try to go higher with the stock rods and valvetrain. Yes the extra inch on the hoosiers helps.
