im pretty sure 06 is still 3.90 on the sti and they didnt go to 3.54 until 07... i want the r180 to run with my dog box but it is only an 07 thing and therefor hard to find. Shipping should be about $95 to pretty much anywhere in the US. use dhl, they ship shortblocks for about $100.

The 06 STi tranny uses the 1.1:1 rear output like the WRX 5 speed, so the 06 180 rear diff should be the 3.54 just like the WRX R160..... thats why an 06/07 STi Tranny will swap in a wrx so easily.....

Is the '06 R180 a Torsen, or was that not until '07?

edit-just found out that it was not until '07, sorry for intruding.

Good information... Besides the 06 rear diff, what else would I need to swap the r180 into my 04 wrx?
