I own an Integra GSR, but I'm here because I plan on buying a WRX next year. I'll probably get it some time in the summer, after its been around for a few months and any initial hype settles down.

I own a GS-R. I enjoy reading good post from good people. I just wish my board was as educated; it seems pride and ignorance runs very close.

SCRAPPYDOO (Stepehen) brought this board to my attention and I could actually see myself trading teams in the future. There is just somehting about those cars...

Yep... I own a 94 (technically a 95MY) Dodge Neon ACR Sedan. I *was* in negotiations with Mike Jerry to buy his turbo 99RS, but my contract with the b!tches at Nortel Networks in Irvine was used for toilet paper, so I'm currently in the "I wish I had a job" frame of mind. Not to worry tho, I have a test for a NOC position with PacBell here in SD, and I feel I have a good chance of getting it, so I'll be steadily employed, and looking for a Scoob soon.

I am currently leasing a '99 Passat GLS Turbo, and also own a nice old '89 Volvo 250 Wagon (RWD).

I am very interested in a Turbo Impreza Wagon, or even better, a Turbo Legacy GT Wagon as my next car. Also, I like the vibe from the Scooby gang, a big "family" similar to the V-dubbers and the RWD Volvo guys.

I started out with an 88 Integra, then I got a 94 Jetta, last winter when it came time to get another car I was about to get an RS (I had already put an order in for a Silverthorn one)

but then... I moved in with my girlfriend, we only needed one car, and with the two of us buying it we could pay cash for the RS, or we could get something nicer... so I found a left over 99 A4 2.8 with sports and winter packages, and we bought that instead.

It was a love of AWD that brought me to the RS, it was an A4 that gave me the love of AWD, and when I had the money for it we got the car that I loved. There's nothing like going sideways bouncing 2nd off the limiter in the middle of a snowstorm

I own a Twin Turbo V8 T-Bird. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about all of the Subaru models because I'm planning on getting a fast AWD car.

I own a 1992 Volkswagen Corrado SLC and a 1970 Volvo 145.

I don't have my '83 Subaru wagon anymore, it rusted apart. The engine would have run forever, though. I bought that car for $700 and drove it for 5 years and only had to make very minor repairs. It got me started loving Subaru's.

I dearly want an RS. I couldn't find any decent used ones when I needed a car. I think I will probably buy one of the new ones in a couple years.

Well, I don't own an Impreza, but I'm in the ballpark - I have a '99 Legacy 2.5GT. As much as I love my Subie, my real first love is my '89 Mustang GT convertible, blown and intercooled, heads, intake, cam, etc etc. Mmmmmmm, tooooorrrqquuee!

Me too. I can't afford one yet. I have a 97 Cavalier; it's pretty weak, but it's the newest car I've ever owned.

Thumbs up

1989 Sunbird SE (I think that clssifies me for having the least powerful engine in the group, thank you very much). Looks beautiful, and in very good shape, but I'll be upgrading to a WRX when it arrives.

I'd probably be driving an RS right now, if I hadn't just now graduated from college and could've afforded one sooner.

98 Forester S here. Lots of useful info at this site since the Forester is like a chunky OBS with the same engine as the RS.
