I appreciate the help in advance.
Current set up: 2009 WRX with EPIC lowering springs (about a 1.2 inch drop) 17x8 wheels with winter tires 245/40/17 In the present I have absolutely no issues with rubbing I just ordered a set up 18x9 Rota G forces with summer tires 245/40/18. My question is mainly this; I was in a small fender bender 3 weeks or so ago and the collision threw my alignment WAY off. To say the least they re-aligned the car and put it to factory specs. I was planning on getting a new alignment with the rear camber adjusted -2 and the fronts adjusted to about -1.5. If I have this done do you foresee any issues with rubbing/knocking or should I be ok? The understanding I have is that if I leave the factory alignment and put on the new set-up I will for sure rub but if I have the alignment performed with the specs listed above I should not rub. Any help/input is greatly appreciated

You'll need some form of LCA or the whiteline bushing kit to gain the camber in the rear.
If you're rolled all around, and with the right camber, you *should* be ok if you aren't slammed. |

So I currently do not have my fenders rolled and I do not have a bushing kit so with that being said and done would this mean that my rear camber would essentially be set to 0? I am curious to see how much rubbing would actually occur.

I found a guy that had the same set up on a sedan and he mentions light rubbing..

You'll probably still need to roll the rear fenders. With springs and struts its hard to get the amount of camber you want in the rear too because strut / spring combos are so much wider in diameter than a coilover strut / spring. There's not as much room to angle the wheel.

Still looking for advice.. 2004 Sedan, Ksport Kontrol Pro coilovers, 1" to 1.5" drop 2" max. Need to know if I could pull off 18x9.5 or just 18x9 and then what tire size would be good that doesn't involve stretching, unlike I said before. (I changed my mind, I'd rather not stretch on the tires for pothole reasons lol) Also I want to mention this is my first attempt at ever lowering any car, or attempting to stance it. New wrx owner, and I used to own a Jeep wrangler, that was easy... just lift it and most all wheels/tires fit. Going the other direction seems to be pretty complicated for someone like myself. Also I would need to figure out the offset for whichever selection is more convenient. I am willing to get my fenders professionally rolled/pulled.

04 STi with stock suspension besides some TEIN Coilovers. Interested in some wheels wider than the stock BBS, preferably 8.5 or 9. I'm not going any bigger than a 17. I would also like to fit some meaty tires on there. Would I have any trouble fitting 17x8 or 9 on it and what size tires could I run? I obviously have to make sure I pick a wheel that will clear my Brembos.
Thanks, Ricky |

Okay so I've read for hours and I think I've narrowed it down to 18x9.5 +25, or 18x9 +25, 225/40/18, or 235/40/18. Ksport Kontrol Pro coilovers with a 1.5 - 2" drop, camber however much as needed and fender pull/rolls upon install. Thoughts? (looking for a meaty cambered look)

neither of those tires are going to be "meaty" or even close to it. Both of those will stretch pretty good on a 9.5" wheel. If you plan to roll/pull anyway, just get 255/35's or 265/35. Honestly, for someone this new, these are NOT the fitments you should be looking at. Keep in mind that pulling is permanent and irreversible without a panel swap. |

Thank you for your response and input scoob. I've heard good things about ksport from many of my friends whom have been doing this stuff for years. Everyone is different so can't really say anything about em unless you've tried em yourself.

So you haven't tried them then? Why would you review them if not?

Way low offset wheels with ****ty coils and stretched tires for a "meaty cambered look"? Are you trolling? |

I am looking at running 18X7.5 ET 45
S.Drive 215X40R18 stock suspension (For now) fenders will be rolled if needed. After reading several post I really don't think this will need negative camber or fenders rolled? Any thoughts? |
