Headed to bed here in a few mins also, I will be there extra early to do the tech inspections. I am trying to switch to the second heat. After that we will prob be leaving, since the whole fam and some friends will be out with us.

I'll still bring the little bbq if anyone wants to bring some burgers or dogs to cook. We will have our own hotdogs and prob have extra if anyone wants.

I'm doing as many runs as they give me. I am in only one heat, just like everyone else.

Brendan, don't forgot you wheel lock key this time.

My fastest clean run was 43.806 It took too many runs to figure out the proper tire pressure. I was able to 4 wheel drift on two runs though, that was fun.

My best clean was 45.9 according to the timeslip, unless I hit some cone that didnt get printed on it. I will be ordering some R comps this week too, thinking about Hoosiers.

If you want a6's for cheap I can shoot you a link or you can get the bf Goodrich r1's like I have for even cheaper.

Unless your going baller status and getting brand new.

Here is some pretty cool info, the recorded noise from the runs;

Peak/Avg.

Josh 86.2 about 85: Stage two, spt exhaust
David 95.8 about 91: Stage two, not sure on exhaust w/ no cats
Levi 86.9 about 79: Stage one, stock exhaust
Brendan 82.7 about 79: Stock
Me 89.7 about 88: Stage whatever, Milltek exhaust w/ no cats

Aftermarket exhaust or not we all were fairly close on the noise making, we all were withing the limit of 100db. I roughly estimated the averages based on the runs. I can't post up the complete results because it is an excel spreadsheet I needed to download. Enjoy.

I thought David would be out of the limit to be honest but that's is pretty kool! May I ask what the limit is?

Re-read that post. I said within the limit of 100db.

Looking at all the cars only a couple went over 100, the straight piped mini and the red si are two that come to mind.

Yeah there was some peaks and valley's but that is about right for the average. Seems like higher performance cars are around those db levels.

I'm glad I don't have the loud ass exhaust I had before, being catless I prob would have been close to the limit.

I'm happy with how I did since it has been so long, and I was running all-seasons.

I have never ran either, other than this weekend for my R1's. Alot of people prefer the A6's because they are supposed to warm up quicker. R1's are supposed to last longer.

So which one would you prefer?
