Default Who Got pulled over last night . . . . .

. . . . 100 yards from their shop - in their just finished - P4 rally car? um. . . . me!

It was 11:30 and I was just going around the block for the first time. Turned back onto the small industrial type street back to the shop and booted it in 2nd. Didn't notice the cop sitting in the parking lot.
He pulled out - lights on - I stopped - he checked my documents - then I got out and we talked about the car / rally for 15 minutes - shook hands and he said "well I've never pulled over a car like this - have a good night" I replied with "well I hope you never pull this one over again!"

He totally restored my faith in the "fuzz"

Well, with my new radar detector hopefully I won't have to meet anymore cops unexpectedly.

Radar would not have helped this time. It was more the fact that I took a 90 degree corner at the speedlimit of 70 kph - and then booted it.

The nice officer even commented how well the car seemed to handle and asked why I didn't brake before the corner. I told him brakes were for girls. We both laughed.

Out testing today - car now runs 100% - the ECU / wiring issue that was causing limp mode has been fixed - now it really goes well.

Oh Keith - you're so funny - how many times to you think that joke was passed around the shop?

But it is kinda neat having your car rev past 4000 rpm now!

Are you sure it was me????
(kidding)

Yes, 149 is my route to work - although today getting stuck at a train for 25 minutes kinda sucked - but the car didn't overheat - so I guess it was a good test.
