Default Where might one obtain XMLwrite?

I wonder if it might help to define a 350Z ROM file (if I can read it).

It wouldn't help.

Thanks.
I heard from Jared (uprev). Sounds like the Nissan ECU is just too different to hope for scaling injectors on the ECU.

I've got a guy with a killer 350Z but little hope of tuning it well with larger injectors until someone figures that out. UTEC is just not there yet and not a great option for scaling injectors anyway (been there).

Looks like UpRev will have a ROM read/edit/write solution sometime, but it's a big bite just to scale injectors and run UTEC. It's evolving.

If you can, post a ROM file on Openecu.org. I can take a look at disassemblign it and mapping it out.

If there is a way to read and write the ROM (as an unencrypted object file), the current Openecu tools like Enguinity and Ecuedit are generalized enough with their XML defs to work on almost any ROM with structured data. It's a matter of someone disassembling them, though.

What kind of ECU do they use? Denso? What CPU? Any chance it is a Renesas/Hitachi SH2? 7052/7055/7058?

It's not Denso. Maybe a picture will help:

I'll keep looking for the OEM for the ECU.

Jared says:

Quote:
You have to scale the K fuel multiplier which represents a ratio of fuel to air flow for a specific injector opening time. This causes major issues w/ the way that Nissan calculates load (which is measured as base fuel schedule). Once you change the K value you also have to rescale all the load axises for all the tables.
I can't say I understand what he's saying. But I do pick up that the injector PW and the MAF air flow measurement are somehow intertwined.

I'll try reading the ROM with EcuFlash.
