Post Replacing stock cats with hi-flow cats

Emissions laws aside...the only problem would be with the O2 sensors correct? I'd throw a check engine light right? So if I have TWO hi-flow cats then I can plug in both O2 sensors and that would solve the check engine light being tripped...or does it not work that way?

You'd be better off putting a voltmeter on the two O2 sensors. Record the differences. Then install a high flow cat...or no cat. Then install a resistor in the rear O2 sensor to make it send stock-like voltages to the ECU.

In fact, someone on this board has done this. Try a search. Good luck!

I replaced both my cats with a single high flow cat (and a turbo), and I have no check engine light. This is on a MY99.
