Running super rich after battery disconnect
I searched for an hour and i have yet to find an answer to my problem, so if anyone has any ideas Id really appreciate it.
I had to fix a headlight wiring issue today, so I disconnected the battery for about 4 hours while finding the problem, tightening up some ground bolts, and splicing in a new headlight pigtail. When I started my car up, it was running completely different from before. To start, 2002 wrx with blouch 16g xt, id1000 injectors, tmic, turbosmart ewg, etc. All tuned using OS/ECUFlash. I'm currently running Michigan e85. I use an AEM UEGO AFR gauge to get it e-tuned. I know the AFR of e85 isn't actually at these values, I haven't changed the dial from gas to e85 though, so these values are just for reference. So instead of idling (warm) at an AFR of 15.6 like it used to, it idles at an AFR at 11.0. What's more is that anything more than 10% throttle and the AFR buries to 10 on the uego, the bottom of the gauge range. It hesitates at anything more than 1 pound of boost as well. I'm not sure if this has to do with the fact that the map was made when it was warm outside, and the ecu had learned to cope with the cold Michigan weather over time or what. I already have an email out to my tuner, unfortunately I haven't learned to read logs or enough to start tinkering myself. So what should I do in case my tuner can't get back to me soon? Reflash the e85 tune? Go back to the completed 93 octane tune? I didn't do anything other than disconnect the battery and mess with the headlight wires (spliced in a headlight pigtail). Thanks for the help!

Sounds like you messed up a ground or something.

You know I thought of that. But after like 30 miles and a rest overnight, its running fine. I'm chalking it up to e85 being finicky.

True. I'm not sure if the cold could also be a contributing factor. What are your fuel trims, im curious
