hands on help in Mass with Romraider/ecu flash $$
I would like a hands on demo in ma. I can compensate for your time if you want. I have everything I need; taxtrix 2.0, romraider , ecu flash and definitions for both. My issue is with logger definitions ive downloaded and extracted files several times but it keeps saying logger def not found do you want to download.

You need to tell the programs where the files are. More importantly you need to put the files in the correct place (in the actual "program" files on the "C:" DRIVE) Also neither of those programs are very Windows 7/8 friendly. You may want to post this in the regional section.

Thanks. I am on Windows 7. My whole reason for trying this is to sort out my check engine situation myself rather than going back to the tuner. To me it seemed like a must have tool for these cars. I wasn't going to change tuning parameters its already a good but safe stage 2 tune at 242whp/311tq done by a very knowledgeable tuner. As ive been reading into it more about my logger definitions file issue I also read that my Ecu very possibly is locked by the previous open source tuner.
If that is the case im just wasting my time here right? Unless i find someone to give me a hands on crash course and several reliable tunes that I can flash myself. Or just sell my tactrix 2.0 and drive the two hrs to the tuner every time I get a cel. Thanks for the help |

You cannot "lock" the OBDII information.
