carberry question
so i was reading about people who tune with carberry and it allows for use of dual maps using a switch? how does this work? and how do you install a switch? Im not new to the DIY as I am a dsmer and we used the dual map switch for Ecmlink but no idea where and which pins to use. please if anyone can help me. thanks

Install requires cutting a wire on the ECU, or what I do, since I have a spare harness, is cut a wire from my JDM harness and slot that into the ECU plug and preserve the stock wire. The easy way is to just wire the switch, which is just one wire. I like to mount it on top of the glove box near the glove box light, pop out the glove box and drill a hole for the switch. I've done in conjunction with an LED too, but my customer who did that eventually went to the glove box location without a LED, since it's pretty obvious if you're set to the wrong map. He found the LED distracting on the dash. |
