Default GReddy lip installed and then...

The freaken mechanic backed up off the lift and the lift caught the lip and then the lip was ripped off... all the mechanics were yelling "stop" ..."oh my god...oh my god"...in the mean time I was in the main office about to pay for all the work done. Then the mechanic comes into the office holding the GReddy lip and explained what happen. I was shocked, calm and pissed inside all at the same time...The mechanic apologized and said we will fix it immediately...I wondered how since a piece was ripped off but I'll see!!! They didn't charge me for painting or installing the lip and the paint job I was going to do next month (rear bumper & front passenger side door) is 50% off!!! Not too shabby...now lets see how they are going to fix my lip!

Let me tell you this though...when it was on...it made the front look SO SO SOOO aggressive I love this lip and I think GReddy should make more for every GT to have one!

Pics will be posted after the repairs are done!

CRAZY KEN, that's the worst. So close to driving away. I bet the mechanic got a mild brow-beating. At least some good came out of it though, possibly anyway. They're SOL if they can't fix that lip unless they have a good source for the replacement. Good luck. I'm anxious to see the finished product.

Yikes, I sure not going to let THAT mechanic drive my car for a test drive. What the hell is he doing on a forklift anyways? I can tell you where you can put that lip into. Geeze. hope everything turns out ok.

HIHO- you mean, my engine problem? yes, everything is ok now. It cost me $900, and the car runs very smooth, but of course, I am a bit nervous at times.

Crazy Ken ...

I have the exact same lip as you ... from TRi ... did you have any modifcations done on yours? I had too ... the lip is not a perfect fit for the US GT bumpers...

Default not a perfect fit...

...I have to concur...they shopped the original lip...cutting off the left and right air dam slit!!!

I told them originally when it was on that there was a slight gap and to make sure they do something about it this time once they reinstall it!!
