haha, it is inevitable, but I love how everyone votes for thier model WRX/STI

I would be so syked for an 06 WRX / STI... However, I have read about and worked so much on the USDM ej205 + power train, I wonder how much I would have to relearn for an STI / 06 WRX... I'm assuming they are pretty similiar in terms of mechanical "guts".

Definitely the 04 sti! I love my wrx floor mats, no cd player or speakers. Jk but honestly the 05 sti gets my vote and so does the 06 wrx.

Funny, most '04 STi owners vote for the '05.

wrong maybe since it was the last year of the blobeye with actual cup holders instead of the dash cup warmer and center console can holder.

I'd say '03 WRX and '05 STi, discounting the versions not sold in America.

Love the blob eyes. The '05 has better wheel bearings, wider wheels, better steering rack mount, power steering cooler, and a bunch of stuff I forget/don't care about.

Just type your answer in Japanese...

89k on my wheel bearings with no problems
wider wheels suck in the snow
still break the bolt off in the power steering rack on the 05 when do bushings
power steering cooler blah 20 bux at autozone
05 flare will hold dirt and rust the body faster
05 console looks really weird

52k miles. Never noticed the knock back problem.
Same tyre size just wider wheels. RE 070's are down right dangerous in the snow.
Don't need to do the bushings with an '05.
Running A_Stock the parts have to come on the car.
No fan of the flares here.
Who gives a rip about the interior?

Weren't the 06 wrx trannys exploding much like the 02s? For reliability's sake, I'd say the 05 wrx was the best.
