Yes you are right. After researching the private classifieds it seems $100 would be more reasonable. This includes the flange and you can have the old gasket too.

If you're looking for more sound, you may want to look at something else. The stock STI and WRX are the same mufflers with different tips. When I swapped out mine it didn't make a difference. A cheap alternative that I went to was a local muffler chain A&B. For $80+tax they cut off my stock muffler and welded a magnaflow on. For $100 more they offered the stainless steel magnaflow.

thanks toneekay, if you were in houston id be all over it. I just need the axelback though. And I have had a stg 2 wrx with stealthback and sti axelback before and it had just enough sound not to drone on the highway or get unwanted rice attention. Not really a magnaflow/flowmaster sort of guy. Rather keep it nice and stock looking and sounding

I have one.
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1629932 Oddly enough, I'm in Houston right now (sick family member). It's possible I may run back to Austin at the end of this week though, if I do, I can bring it back. I'll shoot you a PM if this happens. |
