Almost 2 weeks on and I'm pretty much in love with the axle back. It can be a little distrubing when having to dip low in the rpm range on a higher gear (2k=<), like trying to have a relaxing cruise home with the wife, but when driven normally on an ordinary day its just bad ass. Perfect for driving home from work and around town. I get lots of looks from all the car guys in the area. Passed a few cops on patrol under moderate throttle input and had no issues so far.

and you won't. It's far far less obnoxious than any harley and most sport bikes.

Tried taking a video of my '11 with axleback exhaust, stage 1, no other engine mods....

Didnt really turn out too well.

To embed, use YouTube and just post the full link. The forum software embeds for you

anyplace that echos is not a good spot for an exhaust video. It's good that you are moving, but to hear the car purr, you need some straight out acceleration as that is what people really want to hear... real world scenarios.

I know I've posted this before, but try something along this line

my post was just my opinion, I know a lot of people love the garage vids. Nothing wrong with them, I just prefer to hear the exhaust cleanly

This is pretty much how I feel. Just a bit too much for every driving scenario. Awesome if you're alone.

How long did shipping take once you placed the order? I would like to place an order, but don't want it to show up while I am out of town.

The 3" is available in both single and double-wall. The 3.5" is only available as single-wall.

5 days from WA to NJ. Less if you live closer to the west coast, which you do.

I doubt there is room for a 3.5" double wall. The 3.5" single wall is a tight fit. Unless 3.5" was the OD, I guess that would work.

I had 3.5" (OD) double-walled. I think thats how they size them.

The q300 is 3.8 od. And 3.5 id. I measured mine. I'm sure they were specifically made for this car being that the 4 won't fit and 3.5 leaves gaps around it.

When I ordered my np axelback I got it blacked out with the 3.5 tips. It was too loud for a dd for me and the size of the tips were too small so you could see straight through to the under carriage due to the lack of mufflers and I didn't like that. It also from the outside had a rasp to it. it is well made but not the sound I was looking for. I don't regret selling my np and getting the q300.
