05 STI 6 Speed Tranny
05 Sti 6 speed gearbox. Only has 13,000 miles on it, not abused, and will give you a greater dccd range than 06's and 07's. I also have the linkage, driveshaft, rear diff and all that jazz if needed for a swap. Tranny $3250+ freight shipping. I will lower the price on a package deal if you are a wrx owner.

The % of how much you can adjust your dccd is diffrent in every year. In 06 and 07 they reduced how much power can be put to the rear wheels, it was lowered.
DCCD varies the slip limiting, which in turn varies the amount of torque that can be redistributed via the center diff. The native torque bias of the planetary gearset in the diff is 35f/65r (04 and 05) and 41f/59r (06+). See the diffrence? Last edited by shadymilkman129; 03-06-2008 at 03:24 PM. |

Also wrx owners, you are going to need the following:
-transmission -driveshaft -3.90 R&P gear to replace the 3.54 in the WRX OR -Front axels -R180 rear differential and Sti hubs, and axles -6 speed shifter and assembly -6-speed clutch fork and slave cylinder 1st - 3.636 2nd - 2.375 3rd - 1.761 4th - 1.346 5th - 1.062 6th - 0.842 Final - 3.900 Because you are changing your hubs over to 5x114.5 you mine as well buy the brembos to fit them. I also have 2 sets of rims and tires to fit the new size, 1 sti set that was taken off at 2,000 miles and onother set of gram lites. You best deal would be to buy the entire drivetrain, brakes, and a set of wheels to fit the new hubs if you dont have a set that fits. |

Interest in 05 STI 6 speed.
Just wondering what kind of price you had in mind for the complete swap package, I'm a 9-2X Aero owner, if that counts . How far are you from Chicago?
Thanks, Eric |

Well like I posted, If you need the rear diff and hubs for a wrx owner they are included but not at that price. I wish people would spend more time reading and less time asking questions where the answer is allready posted. I have made a new post to clairfiy all of this for everyone....
