Default Code P0026

2008 Impreza
So I brought it to the dealer as I was having a difficult time to fix this. They changed an oil valve. $400
I was very happy with the service but the dash lit up again.
Engine light, cruise and steering. It’s on and off. All at the same time.
Advice would be appreciated.

I’m bringing it back tues but I do t know what to expect

I got this code before, all I had to do was an oil flush and change. Worked fine after that. Apparently the valves will get stuck sometimes if it sits for a while

Since this thread never had a good solution posted:

Pull the C-codes using your odometer (youtube has video on this).

It will tell you specifically which side the switch and/or solenoid needs changed, if that is the problem.

The CEL + flashing cruise control light + if rev limited 4k is limp mode.

Hope this helps someone searching for solutions
