Depending on the light, I could see how the silver might pick up tones from the green above it and look like a silvery green at a glance.

There is a monotone Sage Green and Camillia Red option for 2011. The green and red are no longer offered in two tone. Could the car have been the single color green?

I stand corrected. 2010 was the last year for green over silver. 2011 is a monotone green.

I found some pix.

Look closely, and you can see that the green has two tones.

It appears that the red is all red.

http://www.cars101.com/subaru/impreza/impreza2011.html

Admittedly, some of the pix make the green look monotone, but the one I saw on the street was two-tone green.

The Sage Green for 2011 is monotone. From the cars101 site itself, under the pics of the sage green cars "new for 2011 one color sage green Outback Sport, shown without the standard roof racks installed"

What you are seeing in some of the pics is silver trim for the bumper underguards.

When you see it on the street you'll see what I'm talking about. It has the same treatment as the black OBS with a different tone of the same color for the lower part of the car instead of the silver that it used to have. It is very subtle.

The color on the Subaru website isn't even close to the actual color of the car.

I passed by my dealer last night, on the way home, and stopped to see if they had any OBS in sage green. They didn't but my salesman and 2 others confirmed that the 2011 OBS in sage green is monotone. In addition the cars101 site, the Subaru site itself, and the 2011 Subaru Impreza brochure all list it as sage green only (monotone). If it were 2 tone, it would be described as such, like the other 2 tone paint schemes are.

Couple new shots of the car including the latest project of installing a WRX SPT cat-back exhaust last night:

All ready to go for winter: bike racks are off and winter wheels/tires are on:

Hey, I'm not trying to make anyone mad here or anything, but I know what I saw on the street. I bet those salesmen haven't seen a 2011 sage green with their own eyes yet. I don't care one way or the other because I wouldn't buy one. When I see another one I'll snap a picture and gladly eat some crow if I'm wrong.

Okay, I just stared at these pictures for 10 minutes and cannot see a color difference. It may depend on the sunlight hitting the car, or something. I think see a contrast in the green most on the front bumper, but cannot see any difference on back bumper. Perhaps the McDonald's coffee I was drinking Monday morning had something in it causing my eyes to see different colors.

I'm going to start hunting some crows right now.

I'm liking that lift. Not enough to look ridiculous, but enough to be aggressive (and useful).

Hahahahaha Ikea cutting boards! Genius! I need to find some silly DIY project to do too. I was thinking about making a shift boot with an old bandanna i have lying around, but i'm afraid i might get shot by a Blood...maybe i should get some dark tints first.

And congrats on the new ride, dude. I kinda like the new color.

Where did you get the lift? Or if you made it, how did you make it? I am looking to a small lift like yours.

I'm really liking the light bar! Any more pics? With the lights on? Hows the ride with the new springs compared to stock? Great job!

Totally dig it!

Please post a side shot when you get a chance. Did you raise it with the Subtle Solution or Jackson Rally spacers or did you use something else?

Again, really nice job!

the lift is a subtle solutions. no springs but it does seem to have a little more float to it from what ive noticed over bumps and steep hills. ill see about a side shot and pics of the lights this week. thanks for all the compliments guys!
if interested I can put together a DIY of the mud flaps in a week or two.
Ive got a little more work to do like get a roof basket and rims/tires and an off roading survival kit like shackles tow straps and one of those multi purpose shovels before the 48hrs of tristate trip in january.
the only complaint I have is that the light bar rattles and you can notice it at night with the lights on...ill be laid off in a few weeks ill have to throw it on the lift and see about making it a little more solid.

Hey, i'm just curious...do you have WRX seats? From the pictures, it looks like you have black WRX buckets and tan interior. I didn't know they changed the interior color for the black '11 OBS.
