Default RallyCross comes to North Texas

This has been a long time coming. We FINALLY have a North Texas site for rallycross and it is just a few minutes away from Eagles Canyon Raceway. Just outside of Decatur Texas. We have a 26 acre site which is twice the space we have in San Marcos Texas. Hope you all can come out and Join us.

For more information please check out these links.

Anybody else with a stock (actually stock) 2008-2014 wrx (not sti) ever rallycross and notice constant bottoming out/slamming is suspension? I ran my first ever today (lots autocross experience but not rallycross) and unless there is something wrong with my specific car, the stock suspension just cannot handle it unfortunately. Seems it's just way too soft. Sounded like somebody hitting me with a sledge hammer. Is this normal for stock class? I don't want to leave stock class and turn this thing into a spend-fest. ... But apparently in rallycross, you can't even change dampers to add compression... ? Is this issue really unique my (brand new) car???

It's not normal.
Without knowing you or the car....
Any number of potential issues.
You could have a bad strut.
The course could have been exceptionally rough....but if oil pans weren't failing left and right, it's likely not an issue.
You might not be use to the sound/abuse, and nothing was wrong.
And could be any combination of the above.
Long story short, the stock suspension might not be perfectly suited to the task, but should have worked well enough if in proper working order.

Some corner workers said they could hear it too. I seriously doubt it's regular abuse noise. I'll take it to subaru again, but after experiencing the same thing on certain bumps on the street previously, they looked at it and said nothing was wrong. I expect more of the same, unfortunately. Not sure I can get them to take a shock out and test it's compression, but I'll try. Some will say I should have bought the sti, but I'm not complaining about my stock Subie not keeping up with my s2k in an autocross, I'm complaining about my stock AWD turbo Subaru not being able to play in the dirt. I think that's legit.

It was a grass course (turned dirt by the end of day, obviously). Normal unevenness with little bumps in ground, of course, but the roughest thing about it was a couple dips, which I slowed way down for to keep the front bumper off the ground, so I never had any issues there.

Here's video from the roof so you get an idea of the course (car is stock 2014 wrx)
