I know. I have a 3gs with a broken screen in the cupboard. I have my sammy infuse which I've had for a year now with a thin case. solid feel, perfect screen.
3GS glass broke after falling off a stroller onto tile. in a case. so yeah, build quality...

This is all true. Most of the time, HTC phones have a more solid build / feel than Samsung phones, but for some reason, Samsung is killing HtC right now, so they have become Apple's prime competitor. Still, an HTC device on its best day does not feel as solid as an Apple device.

Nonetheless, I am an Android user, because the Google services integration is better with Android, and I can pick up my phone and see more information, faster than I can with iOS. I do like my iPad, though.

Build quality and durability are two separate things. I haven't had a case on a iPhone yet, dropped many times without breaking. Except the time I dropped a 4 face down on concrete and shattered the screen. But I think if dropped flat on the screen, none of these phones are safe. The iPhone had more breaks due to the exposed glass edge though.

Broke 1 3GS screen and 1 I4 screen. Fixed them both myself for $60. Can you even fix samsungs? I mean, the Lego plastic would lead you to believe it would disassemble but who knows.

Love my Samsung plasma. Shame they can't make a good phone.

Panny > Samsung when it comes to plasma. Shocked at how great my near 5 year old Panasonic plasma still looks.

I am very tempted to switch to the one x+ but the no removable battery might be a deal breaker for me.

Why You need removable battery? By the time a battery only holds 75% of the original charge Your phone will be obsolete.

It's not about replacing the battery when it is no longer holding a charge, it is about changing it when I run out of juice or putting in an extended one when I know that I am traveling and will be using the **** out of my phone.

a removable battery comes in handy sometimes when stuck in certain boot loops or other lock ups.

one x is a great phone but as far as I know the current firmware is still unrootable, hopefully this changes with the x+? as a result there is very little developer support. the inability to freeze or uninstall bloat or install ad away is a huge deal breaker for me.

Yep, it's a better phone than the S3 in most aspects unless you're stuck with 2.20 firmware. They really dropped the ball on that. Hopefully they will realize what a retarded decision that was... anyone who wanted that kind of crap would have bought an iPhone

I also prefer the build/feel of the one x to any iPhone. It feels equally solid/well built, but also like something that was designed to be held in your hand as opposed to a block of anodized aluminum with round corners.

Ahah! Thank you!

In other news, I've been stuck listening to the radio for 2 weeks now, since Lightning broke iPhone integration with all car head units. Still waiting on a Lightning-to-dock adapter to see if that works.

Way off topic but is burn in still an issue with plasmas? The last time I bought a tv I went with LCD since it was still a bit of an issue and well I'm thinking about getting a new tv in the near future and would like a plasma if they've overcome that.

Not really, no.

I've converted both my TV's to plasma personally, the picture quality is much better. Love my 65" Panasonic. I can't stand that artificial 240hz motion on LCD's.

On an iPhone note Apple store swapped out my iPhone 5 with the bad display, yeah.
