Tire temps wouldnt get warm enough. Unless youre using rs3 or r1r's they overheat on heavy cars quick in the summer.

I have MPSS. Not quite as aggressive as those two, but I imagine they still won't get up to temp.

Something just feels wrong about going on a spirited drive on spongebob winter tires. (General Altimax arctic in case you're wondering) either way. I'll still probably go?

Weather is looking decent for Sunday, some rain in the next few days should help get some of the crap off the road.

I'll be on my winter tires still. Ambient temps should be consistently above 50F for summer tires. And up here, the temps are still on the cold side.

I put my RS3's on already and they heat up pretty good. The roads are still cold but the tires have heat in them. I'm tired of winter tires and want my car to handle. Still deciding if I should come out Sunday or sleep in haha.

I'll see anybody coming tomorrow at 10 at the steak haus. Just a couple reminders:

- If you have two way radios, please please bring them. It makes coordinating things so much easier.

- Asshat driving will not be tolerated. You can pretty much guess what this means. Keep it clean.

- Please make sure your tank is full.

Just be prepared for some rough roads, the winter really took a toll on some of these back roads for sure.

So for the cb/2 way radio, does anybody have a recommendation for which kind or what one to buy? I would hate to buy the wrong one or have it not work well.

And both of those work great for you on these cruises? I just didnt want to buy "walkie talkies" and have them not be compatible with the channel you guys are using.
